Services include bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, basement finishing, home additions, flooring and tile installation, interior painting and drywall, and general home renovations. By using the Site, requesting an estimate, submitting forms, or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or Services.

1. Description of Services

We provide residential remodeling and general contracting services — including bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, basement finishing, home additions, flooring and tile installation, interior painting and drywall, and general home renovations — primarily in Sterling, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Estimates requested through this Site are free and non-binding, and are subject to an in-person or on-site assessment before any work agreement is finalized. Some projects may require permits, inspections, or approvals from local building authorities; addressing those requirements is part of the project scope discussed with you directly, separate from the estimate process on this Site.

2. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of the property owner or an authorized decision-maker, to request an estimate or engage our Services.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property and project, including any relevant HOA, lease, or ownership restrictions.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from co-owners, landlords, or homeowners associations before work begins.
  • We are not liable for delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

3. Estimates and Payments

Estimates provided through this Site, by phone, or by email are free and non-binding. Final pricing is determined after an in-person or on-site assessment and is documented separately for each project — we do not publish pricing, duration, or project scope on this Site, since every home and project is different.

Payment terms, deposits, and schedules are set out in the individual written agreement for your project, not on this Site.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

Estimate visits and appointments are subject to availability. Please provide reasonable notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled visit.

5. Limitation of Liability

Services provided through this Site — meaning the estimate request process — are offered "as is." We are not liable for delays in scheduling or responding to estimate requests, decisions made by local permitting or licensing authorities, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site. Liability related to construction or remodeling work actually performed is governed exclusively by the separate written agreement for that project, not by these Terms.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VEF Construction harmless from claims arising from inaccurate information you provide through this Site, misuse of the Site, or violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Content on this Site — including text, images, and logos — is the property of VEF LLC or its licensors and is provided for your personal, informational use only.

  • Message frequency varies based on your inquiries and project needs — this is not recurring promotional messaging.
